Goodbye Glyn

February 28, 2007

Today over 250 freinds and family paid their last respects to Glyn Picton.
Glyn was a vauled member of the GCWCC known within the club as the best and hottest maker of curries. Last season taking the 3rds to the league title as captain. Glyn loved nothing more then to watch the youth training on Friday nights out of the clubhouse window often offering a word of encourgement to the youth coaches passing his wealth of cricket knowledge and a few more sharper pointers on to them. His love of cricket was 2nd to none particularly enjoying watching his son Adam playing who is following in Glyns foot steps as a fine up & coming cricketer.
Glyn was well known throughout local cricket and will be missed by all who knew him.
Goodbye Glyn your memory will live on at GCWCC
